natemac00
Is there a way to pull additional Metadata from ROMs during import? All the below Metadata I know is available in MAMEUI, I don't know how that correlates to LaunchBox. When importing MAME Roms, I'd like to also pull; Type: Raster, Vector Screen: Horizontal, Vertical Trackball: Yes, No Lightgun: Yes, No Golden Age: Yes, No CHD: Yes, No Original Game: Yes, No
Vlansix
Hi Nate! Better MAME support is something we're looking into. Check the issue tracker for updates :).

Check the issue tracker for updates :). I'm sure this is not easy to pull, is there any grunt work that you can pass down to us users? A way to speed up development on the time consuming issues, rather then the difficult issues. I'm sure you'd have many users being willing to put time in to this project. Vlansix
Heya Nate! That's actually what I'm planning on doing. See, all the MAME stuff right now makes me cry when I look at it, so I'll need to untangle it and add it as an additional tab in the DB for impacted entries. Won't be done tomorrow, but it's on my todo list :).
