I just got my Dolphinbar today and it seems that if i remove the "continuous scanning" option in Dolphin, then Dolphin does not crash when launched from Launchbox, however the wiimote does not work once in the game. As previously mentioned, workaround of having wiimote off and launching the game with continuous scanning works. Quote

There have been various bug reports to the dolphin devs but it looks like they've all been dismissed. The workaround is the only solution we have right now. Quote
