How to find 4 player Console games?

I'm having trouble finding 4 player games for anything other than the Arcade platform.  They appear to be numerically labeled in the games DB (Play Mode = 4), but appear as "Multiplayer" in Launchbox.

Also the Launchbox DB submit form only supports numerical values for Play Mode (4), not the values in the Launchbox UI (4-Player Simultaneous)

Is this deliberate?  How do I create a playlist for 3/4/6/8 player console titles?
