Hello im trying to boot straight into bigbox when i turn on my pc i tried changing the shell in regedit, which did boot straight into bigbox but it didnt play my bigbox startup video it played the sound but no video is there a reason for this? Just need some help, thanks

changing the shell in regedit is a hardcore way to do it. It will work but you could just put a shortcut to bigbox in the startup folder in your start menu and see if that works. You'd have to undo your regedit to see the start menu though.

Yer i have got it like that at the min but if possible i would like it to boot straight into bigbox so it looks more like a console but like i said it only plays the sound not the video of the startup video, do you know why that is?

I'm sorry. I don't. It may be that it's loading the sound driver before the video driver. There may be a way to point the shell entry in the registry to a script that adds a short delay before loading bigbox and that might fix it.

It would look something like this:

cd path\to\bigbox
sleep n  (where n = number of seconds you want to delay launching bigbox)
bigbox.exe

save that as a .bat file and use that as your shell and see if that works
