Launchbox won’t open

I have a issue I have launchbox on its folder it works fine but once I create a shortcut for my desk top of launchbox and I try to open it from there it won’t open. It only works when it’s on the folder. Is there a way I can open launchbox with out been on the folder?  I want to auto run launchbox automatically when I start my pc.
