Is it possible to borrow config files for controls for xtension cabinet for use with emulators and launchbox

I have not very tech savvy and read some threads about flashing ipac2 firmware but I don't want to brick my controller. I was wondering if it would be safer to just have controls set for launch box and each emulator instead. I did try but ended up screwing it up: couldn't navigate menus without mouse in bigbox and controls in N64 emulator didn't even work. So I was wondering if I would be able to download someone's config files for launch box, redream, project 64, retroarch, mame programmed for 2 fightsticks like the xtension nonpro cabinet I have

Did you ever get an answer to this? I'm having trouble getting my xtension control board to work with console games/toggle RetroArch menu in game.
