Can you assign keyboard commands to controller in launchbox/bigbox?

I have launchbox premium and bigbox, upgraded to latest version just the other day

Im using Mednafen standalone for PS1 emulation, and I configured it to map all the buttons on my xbox 360 controller which works great

Since im using bigbox and can really drive everything from the controller, thats my end goal. a HTPC I can turn on, and then fully drive from the controller, including exiting games, shutting the PC down (which is a great feature in bigbox!) etc

As you know, PS1 has a TON of multidisc games. One problem I cant figure out is, currently you have to use F12/F10 to eject the disc tray, swap discs, etc

is there any autohotkey script I could write or controller automation feature where I could press a button combo like back and start to open tray and swap discs? or one button combo to open the tray, then another (like back and A) to swap discs, etc?

Its really the very last step to eliminating the need for a keyboard on my setup which is my goal

I dont mind putting the work in to figure it out, just dont wanna chase something thats not even possible

Also, i really dont want to use some 3rd party program like joy2key that could mess with my controller in ways i dont intend, unless it wouldnt?
