Xbox 360 controller intermittently loosing connection

When in BigBox, my xbox 360 controller will suddenly disconnect, then reconnect. New batteries, two controllers. 'use all attached controllers' on and off. Not having this issue when using to navigate outside of BigBox. WTF?

I performed the optional net updates to windows. As well as, some other drivers that were optional updates. that seems to have cleared up the issue. In case someone else is having this issue.
