OneCredit Posted December 27, 2020 Share Posted December 27, 2020 (edited) Hi, I recently re-installed LaunchBox (licensed version 11.8) on a new pc, it worked fine untill I installed the "CRT Emudriver 2.0" I did google it first and found I needed to install "Microsoft Visual C++ 2015" I already had this installed (also re-installed it), and also already had "Microsoft Visual C++ 2008, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2015-2019" and "Microsoft .NET frameworks 4.8" installed. Running Windows 7 64bit all updates When launching LaunchBox.exe it says "LaunchBox has stopped working" with this underneath it: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: LaunchBox.exe Application Version: 11.8.0.0 Application Timestamp: 5f3ed523 Fault Module Name: StackHash_270a Fault Module Version: 6.1.7601.24557 Fault Module Timestamp: 5ee1b24d Exception Code: c0000374 Exception Offset: 00000000000be742 OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 270a Additional Information 2: 270a2677ee2e50403f64a9189bd59adf Additional Information 3: 46af Additional Information 4: 46aff5d59dc0696146c4a8ed6ac8d53f Hope some one can help me with this. OneCredit Posted December 29, 2020 Author Share Posted December 29, 2020 (edited) I spoke to soon... It is the "test mode" thats causing the problem.. I had crt emudriver installed but I removed the watermark "test mode" (not knowing I left test mode) So it did work but I was stuck in 480i and couldn't get 240p working. Did a re-install of windows 10 and crt emudriver (this time i stayed in test mode). Now LaunchBox won't run, so i left "test mode" and LaunchBox runs perfect, but the crt is stuck in 480i So my conclusion is LaunchBox can't run in "test mode". And CRT emudriver needs to be in windows test mode to work.. Some one know a work arround to let LaunchBox run in "test mode"? Appreciate the help. ?
