BigBox losing focus

Hello- I am quite new to the Launchbox/BigBox world. I am having some issues with BigBox losing focus in a few situations:

1) Upon exiting a mame game

2) Upon Computer start

3) Upon waking from sleep

 

I believe the startup issue is being caused by other apps running at startup AFTER BigBox loads...

For the other issues, I have researched and tried some of the fixes I found in the forums using AHK, but I must be doing something wrong. I'm hoping someone can help with a ELI5 tutorial to assist.

 

Please let me know what other information I can provide to assist.
