Android TV App Crash when importing game folders

Hi,

I just wanted to leave that info on some forum, i was looking around google searching for an issue i had with importing roms on android TV (nvidia shield 2019) .
So what i had was : selecting the folder i want to import from, the first 2 stages were doing ok, but as soon as the last stage of importing was beggining ( when you start seeing game names, like i would see the first few inches of the loading bar there was 2 different steps something like preping the database and another one i could not translate right now and then then some game name pops and the app crashes to my android TV home menu) then the app would crash.
I Then started to split up in halves my folder and deleting special characters etc, untill they finally all got through, then i was bugged off because some larger folders would fail and others would not, and all of them
contained the same amount of roms and all, but when i got to split them all up to narrow down the problem on maybe a specific rom or something then it all went through.
Then i tried something else, I unchecked the option off it's default value : Combine roms with a matching title as a single rom, and also selected to search through all subfolders and it worked.
So then i rolled back my subfolder narrowing down thing back to : all roms at the same level, and still unticked combine roms "..." and there it is it still was good.
I got my roms from rom bundles, over the time copying and editing names etc so i have lots of doubles somes with the .smc extension others without and all kind of other fuckery but anyway...

So, in hope i save this 2-3 hours of bugging around i had to go through today and thank you very much for your project, I just licensed mine today.
I hope this helps someone patching it up or getting through his current struggle.

Thanks,
