Community Theme Creator can't open my theme anymore

After I saved and published my theme and I opened it in BigBox the theme works as intended.  Then I opened Community Theme Creator and I have this error.

The .txt file for my theme is now just full of [NUL].  

Can I somehow import my theme back in to Theme Creator?  As it seems the theme was overwritten by bad data?

Ended up having to start over. I messaged y2guru about it and he is planning to reinforce save routines in CTC, so that hopefully won't occur in future releases.  In the meantime,  I suggest making regular backups of your theme folder.
