Touchscreen as BigBox game selector

I recently purchased a touch screen secondary monitor as my dynamic marquee with hopes that I could use it as a game selector in addition to other features as my arcade setup doesn't have a trackball.  I set up the game screen as the primary screen and the touchscreen secondary screen as the marquee screen, which is showing up great, but even though I can manipulate the mouse on the main screen with the touchscreen, I can't scroll or select any games. Any advice on this would be much appreciated!

I did a theme for touch screens, works decently. Look at the screenshots that show the touch icons. They might be of help. (
