CTRL-ALT-DEFEAT Posted November 26, 2022 Posted November 26, 2022 So I decided to do my frequent re-play of Super Metroid and I noticed some weird input lag when wall-jumping. If BigBox is the screen immediately behind the game window (I'm using Retroarch), its super difficult for me to pull off a wall-jump. I initially thought it was just something going on with the controller (Xbox One Elite Series 2) since I didn't notice any other input lag otherwise. I ended up needing to Alt+Tab after awhile to check something and then went back into game immediately after, so now that program was the window immediately under my Retroarch window and the wall-jumping started working as I expected it to. I tested this by Alt+Tab'ing back to BigBox then back to the game so it was as it was previously and the input lag returned. Has anyone else experienced this/know a solution? Quote
