adamc.parker
Edit: I just realized that I can individually edit the inputs in each game. Is there any way to share input settings between games? This would take forever to individually program controls for each and every MAME game! Everyone, if I could delete this post I would. I had no idea I could edit inputs across all of MAME. I feel like an idiot. For those who wonder, push "Tab" when you load a game up, go to "Input Settings," then "Input Assignments (this system)" and assign your controller press values there. Hey all. I'm quite new. I've searched on here for this question but have yet to find an answer. Here's my situation: I'm playing with an Xbox one controller played through USB. My controller works with plenty of console games, all of which play through Launchbox in conjunction with Retroarch. They all play flawlessly and have great button mapping. When I try to play MAME games, the controls don't work at all. They don't use Retroarch, but rather MAME 0.249. The games load up great and look beautiful... I just can't play them either in LaunchBox or the Big Box. I have opened the MAME program and in MAME it registers my button presses in the input section. I'm just totally baffled why MAME loading in LaunchBox means the controller doesn't work. Any ideas?
