Steam Link > Big Box > Dolphin, latter won't load.

Currently messing around and seeing what I can get away with, but ran into an issue where Dolphin won't load when I am in Steam link - Big Picture Mode > Big Box

Here are the steps that led me to where I am;

• Steam - I added Big Box as a non-steam game
• Steam - Launched Big Picture mode
  • Big Picture Mode - set up the controller configs for Big Box
  • Big Picture Mode - Launched Big Box
    • Big Box - Launched Gamecube game
      • Issue - Dolphin never loads
    • Big Box - Went to Gameboy Advance section
    • Big Box - Launched a game in retroarch
    • Big Box - Retroarch game loads.

Dolphin will load when I just load up Big Box without steam link

I also just went to steam launcher, opened big box, attempted to load dolphin game and it that didn't work either.

The only thing I can think of so far is that retroarch is on a local drive and dolphin is on a external hard drive. Any thoughts?
