heichiro
Hello! Can someone help me with this dilemma? I want to play PC9801 games directly through Launchbox. But whenever I try to do so, it boots the Neko Project 21w but not the game itself ( I got a couple of .hdi and .fdi files on me). Can I get some Command line parameters for this? Thanks in advance
KoltonLogan
Make sure to replace "path_to_your_game" with the actual file path. That should tell Neko Project to load the game directly instead of just the emulator.
Elementex
I’ve run into something similar before with Launchbox and PC98 games. From what I found, getting the Neko Project 21w emulator to boot directly into the game involves specifying the game file in the command line parameters. For example, you can try setting it up like this:path\to\NekoProject21w.exe -drive 0 path\to\game.hdiThis should launch the emulator and the game at the same time. If you're working with .fdi files, the process should be the same. I had some fun playing through old PC98 titles like this recently, and it's definitely worth the extra setup! I also used a 10 sided dice roller for some of the in-game RPG dice rolls, which added a bit more immersion to the experience.
