Is there a quick way to see controls for each game before playing them?

I'm still waiting for my cabinet to arrive but I was thinking about how the controls would be mapped out for each game. This controller will have six buttons for both players and being that I'll have a bunch of different arcade games set up on this, is there a quick way to see what the controls are for each game and/or how they're mapped out on your controller for the game that's being selected? I tried researching this and I saw some mention that it helps to have the manuals downloaded from emumovies, but when I scraped for that, a lot of games don't seem to have manuals and the ones that do still require you to browse through a pdf to find the controls which doesn't seem very convenient. I suppose I can always push each button and figure it out, but a visual representation of it on screen would be nice
