NAMCO 256

Freshly emulated the namco 256 running on play it emulator! there are now enough titles to be playable! And he has some title that we've been waiting for a long time so I got down to the task in team with superrob3000 (who took care of the animated marquee)
We'll share someone here for sure!

I have tried to play namco 2x6 on launchbox but when I click the game it opens the emulator not the game.

Can anyone help me how to import namco 2x6 to launchbox and make it work.

Hi medi,

I just got Play! setup to play some arcade games myself. You want to use the command line parameters "--fullscreen --arcade" then check the box for "remove file extension and folder path" and you need to make sure the file name is the one associated with the game in the emulator i.e. fateulc for Fate: Unlimited Codes or soulclb3 for Soul Calibur 3.

You're going to cry sacrilege but I kept it simple for the arcade and I cheated a lot regarding the versions

in fact I didn't bother for example for namco 256 I simply put the ps2 ports
1) saving space it avoids you having duplicate games (or in almost identical versions).
2) you win a lot some arcade games are really hard to configure
3) Sometimes you find arcade versions converted on ps2 this is the case of the version of soulcalibur 3 that we find on ps2 but in arcade version

On the other hand, the trick can be used endlessly! and it works even better on PS3 for teknoparrot games! all tekno games are released on PS3 (or almost) or have had the honor of a port! (almost identical to the arcade version)
