Here's a breakdown of how to install I will mention my settings in a reply later:

Understanding the Methods:

1. Using the Provided Scripts:

The script will patch, build, and sign the APK automatically. Rerun the script later to update game database, controller support, and patches without full repatching. And, then put the apk file into your phone and install it.

Linux: Place your NetherSX2 APK named 15210-v1.5-4248-noads.apk in the same folder as patch-apk.sh. Make the script executable: chmod +x patch-apk.sh. Run the script: ./patch-apk.sh.

 

2. Manual Patching with xdelta (Not Recommended):

• Extract the NetherSX2 APK using a tool like APKTool.

• Apply the xdelta patch from Trixarian using a tool like DeltaPatcher.

• Repackage the patched APK.

• Sign the APK manually (this step is crucial for security and functionality).

Recommendations:

Use the provided scripts whenever possible. They automate the process, ensuring accuracy and applying necessary signatures. Manual patching with xdelta is not generally recommended due to potential for errors and security risks if not done correctly. Always back up your original APK before applying any modifications. Obtain the patch and scripts only from trusted sources like Trixarian's GitHub repository to avoid potential malware.

Additional Considerations:

Compatibility: Ensure you're using the correct patch version for your specific NetherSX2 APK version. Permissions: Grant necessary permissions during installation.
