Joysticks Not Working in BigBox

I am having an issue with the joysticks in BigBox. I have 4 UltraStik 360 from Ultimarc. They are registering just fine in Windows 11 OS and the Ultimarc software. I have also tried them on 4 way and 8 way. When I use the joysticks nothing happens. Even if I try to go to controller mapping and map the up function and move the joystick, it does not register. Any suggestions?

I would assume you have configured your encoders to be in key mode rather than xinput or dinput, so you need to make adjustments in keyboard mapping

I'm not sure how to check the encoding, but I tried keyboard mapping also and that didnt do anything. It acts as if they joysticks are not plugged in for BigBox/Launchbox. However, in joystick settings and UltraMap they are detected and it shows response to my movement.
