flanx Posted June 2, 2025 Posted June 2, 2025 Good evening all. I created this custom view in the theme creator to dynamically create marquee for games based on the artwork already downloaded by Launchbox / Big Box. The way I have it setup is it will distinguish between arcade and console games based on their category label. If its an arcade game, it will display the arcade marquee art and if its a console game, it will create a marquee using the box, cartridge and clear logo artwork. I posted this in another persons thread asking a question and somebody asked for the files, so I figured I'd create my own post so hopefully it may be easier to find for someone looking for a dynamic marquee option. The GameMarqueeView.xaml should work with any theme as long as you have the plugin files I've included copied to the correct directory. I've included all of my art files and brief instructions. Obviously feel free to make any changes you'd like customize it for your use. I've uploaded a brief video showcasing the marquee in action. Hope you enjoy. Nichrome_Dragon Posted December 3, 2025 Posted December 3, 2025 Hey, I love this - By far my favorite marquee setup! I can't get the background to appear behind the disc and clear logo, everything else works great, but the background is missing. Not a huge deal, but If you could share the fix that would be great, I followed the location instructions for the folder "Themes" Quote

Glad you like my design! Did you get the issue resolved? One thing to pay attention to is the number of periods in the file path. If this is off by any amount, it won't work. Quote
