Importing new ROMs "from subfolder" directive ignored

Hello everyone,

I have a small problem that I can't seem to be able to solve.

Even though I set it not to look for new ROMs in subfolders, the system keeps doing it. Both automatically (I had to disable auto-import) and manually when searching for added ROMs (even though I told it not to).

Has this happened to anyone else? Am I doing something wrong? I don't want the system digging into other folders and finding "ROMs" in update folders or DLCs or CHDs for MAME etc.
