nathanook Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Hi y'all, I'm new to the Nintendo Switch emulation scene, and mostly trying to backup my extensive collection to try things out as the emulators continue to evolve. So far, my preferred one is Citron, although I know it's relatively new. My problem with it is that it seems incompatible with Launchbox due to how it handles updates and DLC. I installed both updates and DLC to the nand, while importing games to LaunchBox from the folder containing the base game files. The problem is when launching a game with LaunchBox (or BigBox,) Citron runs a base version of the game, without the installed updates and DLC. This seems to be a problem on the emulator's side, since even creating game shortcuts from it only launches the base game, without the DLC and updates. The same, of course, doesn't happen with other emulators that work similarly (Citra launches game files with installed DLC just fine.) Wondering if anyone found a clever solution for this. I tried a lot of different commands and even some simple .bat files, but nothing worked. From what I read, this seems to be related to how Citron handles the game list/cache, so maybe there isn't a solution at the moment. Quote
