Connect to RetroAchievements is bugged regarding "--appendconfig" for RetroArch

If I "connect" like this, purposely not giving password to allow the frontend to auto log me in within emulators, everything works as expected for launching games. When setup like this, this feature is still listed as disconnected, per it says "Connect to RetroAchievements" in the file menu. Yet it does still in fact pull down all relevant RA data, as in I can see all my achievement progress on all games, which ones I have unlocked and the like.  My retro score is displayed in upper right hand corner next to license name too for ex.  Seems only username and API is needed for that data to work.

However, if I fill in my password and full connect to RA, making the file menu change to "Disconnect from RetroAchievements" then it all hits the fan and launching games is messed up for RetroArch. Specifically, it is ignoring the APPEND CONFIG param for RetroArch. for ex....several of my platforms cannot launch right as a result due to how I have them configured.....

every one of those --appendconfig <value> bits are not being included. this is obvious due to I boot into games showing a 4:3 ratio instead of 16:9 and this setting is supposed to be changed via how I append the config. I have a couple other settings being changed too via the appendconfig file and all of them are not being adjusted when launching a RetroArch game through the frontend when connected to RetroAchievements. It further confirms the frontend is def not using the param appropriately in this specific scenario. important to note the frontend does still include the other params listed out, they seem to work fine. that being --set shader, and -f. only --appendconfig is ignored when full connected to RetroAchievements through the frontend.

I even tried re-sequencing the params, thinking maybe it is ignoring the first one listed out rather than --appendconfig specifically. but I put other params in front of it and --appendconfig is ignored each time and --set-shader and -f both work regardless if they are first or not. so seems to be more specific to --appendconfig

please fix this bug

video proof....showing the only change I make is doing that full connect to RetoAchievements bit and that is the source of the issue. Notice how first time the game is launched it looks OK. 2nd time, the bezel image is cropped to 4:3 instead of full 16:9 ratio, and that is due to the main default config not being appropriately appended, due to the command line param not being used/sent properly by the frontend

Potential eureka moment here...

After glancing through RetroArch's default config I do see this is where RA USERNAME AND PASSWORD is stored, and token, etc etc etc RA data. ie, I would put money down on the frontend is editing the default config to fill in values to log into RetroAchievements in an automated fashion, in such a way that prevents RetroArch from editing it appropriately with the --appendconfig param
