Cache for portable launchbox?

Do you folks currently support or can you support caching for portable versions of launchbox that run from a NAS?

I run launchbox from an NVME drive on a NAS from a local machine on my network via 10G network interface. Because launchbox has a LOT of small files it can be painfully slow at times.
If launchbox cached some amount of "recently used files" on the local host it would make things run more quickly for the "current" platform.
