KingDenver Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I've been using LB/BB for a few months with absolutely zero issues until now. I've been using Amazon purchased EGSTARTS no delay encoders to control player 1 and player 2 with separate joysticks and 8 buttons total... with zero issues until now. Recently I decided to go ahead and integrate Logitech's g920 wheel and pedals into my setup. Everything worked flawlessly. I was able to navigate BigBox, Launchbox and Mame UI with no issues. The other day, I opened BigBox and attempted navigating with player 1 joystick, followed by zero response. Again, attempting with player 2 joystick.... nothing. All other button inputs were working the way they were originally mapped. Just not the joysticks. After 72 hours of googling and following instructions, I'm completely baffled. I've shut down, unplugged usb cables, scrapped the g920 wheel and pedals, removed the InputBindings xml, and attempted remapping my joystick over and over... aaaaand nothing. Now before I go all crazy and do a complete teardown by uninstalling and reinstalling everything, I figured I'd bring my noobness here and see if I can get an answer. I can map the joysticks and buttons in Mame itself. Playing games without a hassle. I can also map the joysticks and buttons in Launchbox. Navigating and using every button I have. Why is BigBox unable to do the same now? If I attempt to remap my joysticks on BigBox, nothing happens 🤷♂️ I really don't want to navigate BB using a keyboard. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Rlad Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago They have a mode switch for the joysticks, add a button or jump it with a screwdriver, see if that helps https://forums.cdn.launchbox.gg/monthly_2025_05/71CW7oJxhhL._SL1491_.thumb.jpg.2d8406720759410ee8709e9f8b5c2658.jpg Quote
KingDenver Posted 10 hours ago Author Posted 10 hours ago Interesting. I'll give that a shot after work and confirm. I assume that toggles between input types? Quote

KingDenver Posted 7 hours ago Author Posted 7 hours ago Ah man 😔 no go on the added button. I thought maybe the button was the culprit, so I had my wife hold a screwdriver there so the blue led stayed lit while I attempted some magic... still nothing. It's super strange. The last 2 months everything was fine. Now I can still play games and navigate Launchbox. But having the license seems pointless if I can't navigate BigBox anymore. Quote
KingDenver Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago Decided to completely start fresh. Uninstalled, reinstalled. And now it works! Just have to go through and replicate at least close to how I had everything configured. Worth the while though! I appreciate the help anyways Rlad! 1 Quote
