I am currently trying to play wii sports on retroarch dolphin core on Steam. My dolphin bar is connected and my wii remote pairs to it I have my driver and input set to SDL2, I am using mode 4 on the dolphin bar, I am setting my controller type in retroarch to real wii remote, when I select mode 4 on my dolphin bar my retroarch pops up 4 notifications all 4 say "Mayflash Wiimote PC Adapter (3/0) not configured, using fallback" I am stuck here as I do not know what to do next any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

I'm working on this right now too.
I've done this before, a few times in fact, which is what is making this particularly frustrating.

I'm gonna keep at it, but will try and swing back if I figure it out again.

Yoooooo!!!!

I figured it out.
It was working for me in Stand-Alone Dolphin, but not RetroArch, and I remembered that a way to setup Dolphin in RetroArch is to copy your user folder over.

Well I got a bit more granular, and long-story-short, I copied my "..\user\config\WiiMoteNew.ini" from stand-alone dolphin to the co-responding folder for RetroArch. For me, this set of dolphin system folders is being stored in my saves directory, and for me that is a custom setting "X:\Saves\Memory Card\dolphin-emu"... so you're folder will likely be different, but it should be either where you save your emulator states, saves, or maybe in system.

I hope that helps! I was so happy to crack this nut, I've been at it all day.

...now if I can just remember what I was planning on playing...

This could work the question I have on the Dolphin core in Retroarch am I able to run the Wii menu to create Miis? As all of the games I enjoy from the Wii have the experience enhanced with custom Miis like Wii sports Resort and Wii play
