BigBox Not Remembering Default Monitor Changes

Hello all!

I have a two-monitor setup.  One monitor is much older than the other, and quite a bit smaller as well. 


Because of this, I'd like to make Screen 2 the default for BigBox to open on.  I was able to find the setting for this easily enough, and it works perfectly for a time.

However, after any reboots of my PC, BigBox seems to automatically revert to the original default settings of opening on Screen 1.


I've tried it after running the program and making the change both normally and as an administrator.  Any changes to the Theme save fine, but the settings seem to be more stubborn (Controller mappings for the BigBox UI like to reset as well!).  I've tried looking through the BigBox.xml file to try and input the change there as well, but I'm afraid to say I don't understand it well enough to know what values need adjusting in there.

I'm on Windows 11 with a NvidiaGeForce RTX 4070 GPU.  Happy to answer any other questions if needed as well.

I gave this advice to someone else and it fixed it and it did for me too, an app called BorderlessGaming and you can select the monitor you want. Start it with windows and it should do it permanently. It's free.
