EmuMovies not downloading videos for NEC TurboGrafx-CD platform

I recently imported games for the NEC TurboGrafx-CD platform in LaunchBox 13.26. Metadata and artwork download normally, but EmuMovies videos are not downloading for any of the games.

Here’s what I’ve checked:

• EmuMovies integration is enabled and the login test succeeds.

• EmuMovies videos download fine for other platforms.

• When running Download Metadata and Media, Video Snaps is selected.

• Game titles appear correct and match the LaunchBox Games Database.

I also checked Tools → Manage Platforms → TurboGrafx-CD → Edit Platform, and Scrape As is currently set to NEC TurboGrafx-CD.

However, I don’t see other platform options that might map to EmuMovies, such as:

• PC Engine CD

• PC Engine CD-ROM

• TurboGrafx-CD

This makes me wonder if LaunchBox isn’t mapping the platform correctly for EmuMovies video downloads.

Has anyone run into this with TurboGrafx-CD? Is there a different platform mapping or associated platform name that should be used so EmuMovies videos download correctly?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I used Emusync its a lot easier to do it manually

Hi @sac5180

I've the same issue, but took the advice of shadowfire36 above and used EmuMovies Sync which downloaded music and movies for me. Unfortunately the software lacks the ability to match folder naming conventions used by launchbox so you'll need to copy the files manually into their respective launchbox folders.

It can however, scan your rom folder and only download files for the games you have, which is very useful.
