Community Theme Creator - How to link image or animated gif with selected item?

I am using the Community Theme Creator and I'm trying to link an animated gif (or even a picture) with the currently selected item in the wheel. The Selected Item bar doesn't work for the System View. There are 30 items listed and even though i selected increments of 30, its shows all 30 places, whereas the wheel stops in the middle until it reaches the end and then continues down to the bottom. Is there a way to just link an image directly to what's selected instead?
