Launchbox vs Bigbox Game Play Issue

I have bene trying for 2 weeks and cannot resolve the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Game play directly via MAME or Launchbox works perfectly. I launch the same game (Kung Fu Matser or Slug 2) via Big Box and the music stutters, game play lags and then speeds up. I have tried fixing cleaning the ini file, but I think I have a bottleneck issue in Big Box. I am running an HP Elite Desktop G5 800 on a Samsung Odyssey G5. I have played with refresh rates on my monitor etc. I cannot find a solution. Thank you
