TallBoyJacob Posted Wednesday at 09:53 AM Posted Wednesday at 09:53 AM I'm unsure if this is an issue with my hardware (RP5 w/ dual screen attachment) or not, but for some reason, the second screen stats don't open after opening an emulator. All other features work as intended, so I'm confused as to why the stats won't pull up. The LB background just stays open the whole time. This happened on all emulators I tested (RetroArch, Dolphin, ARMSX2). 20261014_034433.mp4 Quote

In LaunchBox, open the menu → Options, and under General, turn on Enable Debug Logs. Fully close LaunchBox (swipe it away from recent apps) and open it again. The log file is created at startup. Reproduce the issue: launch a game from LaunchBox with the dual screen attached, wait until the stats screen should appear, then come back to LaunchBox. In your LaunchBox data folder (shown under Options → Data Folder), open the Logs folder and find the newest Debug ….log file. Send that file to me in a direct message here on the forum. Click my name (x4ml) → Message, attach the log, and include a link to this thread. Please also say which emulator and game you tested with. Once you’ve sent it, you can turn debug logs back off. Solution x4ml Posted 21 hours ago Solution Posted 21 hours ago 11 hours ago, TallBoyJacob said: DM sent! Thanks for the logs; they showed us the problem. When the game starts, the stats screen tries to use your games list’s Launching View. That view doesn’t have a dual-screen layout, so the second screen stays on the background. Can you check this and try the workaround? Go to the games list for the platform you’re testing, open the menu, and choose View Settings. Look at Launching View. If it shows anything other than Box Art (for example, a theme name), switch it to Box Art. Launch a game again. The stats should now show on the second screen. Please let us know what Launching View was set to. We’ve also fixed this for the next beta, so LaunchBox will use the built-in stats screen whenever a theme’s launching view doesn’t support dual screens. Quote

I'd had it set to "Faeran Startups - Big Logo." So I'm guessing that the theme just didn't have the required files, leading to the glitch. Thank you so much! 1 Quote
