Emily Parker Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) I have a small DOSBox setup in the spare room in Wichita, mostly for old adventure games, and I keep wondering how to keep it usable when the power flickers during storm season. I have been looking at portable power stations and the BLUETTI Elite 30 V2 caught my eye since it seems small enough to sit on the desk. What I am unsure about is whether something that size can realistically run a desktop and monitor for an evening, or if I would be better off with a laptop and not bother with a station at all. I do not have a good sense of how long these units last under a light load, and I would rather not buy something that only gives me twenty minutes. If anyone here has actually run a PC and display off a small station while gaming, I would like to hear how it went and what capacity you would consider the minimum. I came across the BLUETTI Elite 30 V2 Portable Power Station Review https://ratethepick.com/product/bluetti-elite-30-v2-portable-power-station-review while trying to get a sense of its capacity for a desktop and monitor. I'm still unsure whether a unit that small could last an evening of DOSBox under light load, so I may lean toward the laptop idea. Edited 2 hours ago by Emily Parker Quote
