Noah Thompson Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I live in a one-bedroom in Denver, and between wildfire smoke drifting in during summer and the dust that builds up in an old building, I've been thinking about a HEPA purifier for the bedroom. The Levoit Vital 200S-P keeps coming up, and the smart features are the part I'm unsure about. I like the idea of scheduling and checking air quality from my phone, but I don't love the thought of a purifier that's less useful if the app or Wi-Fi goes down. I also can't tell whether the smart model does anything meaningful that the plain version doesn't, or whether I'd be paying extra for features I'd stop using after a month. Room is about 300 square feet, and it would run overnight mostly. For anyone running a smart purifier day to day: does the app actually earn its place, or would you go simpler next time? Any thoughts on noise at low settings would help too. Quote
