About This File

Emblem is a brand new theme for LaunchBox for Android with a focus on banners that are used to display information about a platform and game. This theme uses Backgrounds, Clear Logo, and box front images, along with custom platform background images that are bundled with the theme.

What's Included

  • Emblem Horizontal Banners filters view - Wheel based, horizontal navigation
  • Emblem Horizontal Banners games view - Wheel based, horizontal navigation

 

Installation Instructions

  • Extract the [theme folder] from zip file (Make sure you do not create a second folder while extracting, creating a [theme folder]\[theme folder]\files situation.
  • Place folder on your Android device, inside of the LaunchBox\Themes folder.
  • In LaunchBox for Android, navigate to intended View and click on the top-right menu button and select Change View, and choose the correct theme view

Love the idea of this theme. Looks very clean. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work properly on my old Pixel 2. For some reason the theme shrinks the boxart of my GBA games very small.

It's one of those Xamarin.Forms quirks. Essentially, you can't seem to auto-size a grid and tell an image to grow and fit into the container. It's essentially only growing to the size of the actual image, and since your image is small, you end up seeing a small image. I may go back and fix this by setting a static height and width for the grid, that should fix it.
