About This File

The theme was created for myself a couple of years ago, so I'm putting it here. It was created on the basis of the amazing Unified theme from the author CriticalCid. Because it was the most suitable candidate for realization of my idea.

The idea was to recreate the atmosphere of a room from those times.

I couldn't find suitable backgrounds on the internet, so I had to learn 3D, namely Blender, to create a couple of pictures for this theme. Yes, I'm probably crazy to learn 3D from scratch for the sake of two pictures. The plan was to create a choice of atmosphere of different console generations.

Awesome theme. However the game/platform name text is missing if I don't have clear logos to use over text and the video location on the handheld default view is out of place. Also, If anyone is getting a black background instead of the room background, change the theme folder name from "My_Room_v1.0" to "My Room" and the room backgrounds will show.

Thanks for the feedback. Now the folder with the theme name itself is in the archive.

The theme is sensitive to platform name. Probably need to add more supported platforms.

Hi, I'd like to add the switch but with the psp aspect ration and screen position, when i have tried it defaults back to the console tv placement and aspect ratio, is there any way to fix this?

I hope someone can help me. My platforms don't have standard names, but renaming the files in "\LaunchBox\Themes\My Room\Media\VideoBorder" to match my platform names didn't do the trick. It always shows the "_Default.png". What can I do to change that? I used "DarkRoom" before and there was no need to rename anything, I think it looked up how the platforms are scraped (but I'm not a 100% sure). Maybe that would be a good thing for "My Room", too. I think there are plenty of people with different platform names. I'm on Launchbox 13.17 Beta 4 at the moment. Thanks for any help! I really love the my room-theme and I hope it'll work on my machine soon.
