  1. I am afraid Redream does not run these games. It picks it up but when you try to run it, it just closes. I believe you need something like Demul for ROMS like these.
  2. Does the ROM set for 0.233 include Dolphin Blue? I was only able to find Mame 0.206 when initially set up my Arcade platform in LaunchBox. It is a real mission to try and find Mame ROMS and also very risky. It also takes forever to import the Mame full sets so I was hoping to have Atomiswave and Naomi separately.
  3. I need some help with Sammy Atomiswave/Naomi setup. I followed the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtPICSUuwbw&list=WL&index=1 Also, Flycast and not Rycast. However the ROM download I have for Dolphin Blue on Sammy Attomiswave came as a gdi/disc file. Below screenshot. I then used that as the ROM to import. The game starts up and then does not progress past the initial screen. What am I doing wrong, any help please? Downloaded Dolphin Blue but it is in GDI format, the video shows you must use .lst but the ROMS I find does not come in .lst.
  4. Ahhh, thanks so much. Now the only issue is lack of compatibility with the emulator. Hopefully Cemu is still being worked on to get more games working. However one can only really play games that do not require motion controls. I am curious if someone on here has tried setting up a PS4 controller to use with motion controls.
  5. Yea I am not sure. Thats the thing, it is tricky to find roms for the WiiU. I can only really find 1 source outside of torrents. I will try to search for other sources and see. I do have a couple that work but they did not download in this format. They were unpacked in folders and the emulator immediately picked them up plus they run without the need for keys.
  6. I understand how the key file works, the issue is I cannot find a key that matches the actual .wux file I have for the game. And I have tried several found online through Google searches thus why I am thinking perhaps the name of the .wux file is an issue. I have no idea.
  7. I did try that but every file I downloaded did not work. Do you also have games named like this: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (USA) (En,Fr,Es) (v1.02).wux I was thinking the name of the file itself can be the issue. All those extra characters at the end: "(USA) (En,Fr,Es) (v1.02)"
  8. Thanks, the problem is finding those keys although I would prefer unencrypted games which seems to be very hard to find.
  9. I am hoping I can get some direction or help here. I cannot seem to find a solution for this anywhere. With some WiiU games downloaded the files simply wont start up due to a key required. Now I already know about loading keys in the key txt in Cemu but even though I have all the keys in there that I could possibly find online these games wont load. An example would be file name: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (USA) (En,Fr,Es) (v1.02).wux. There are not really many places to get WiiU games from so this is the only one I could find. I am not ripping my own games. This title is encrypted. To run this application open keys.txt and add the disc key." Not all games are in the 'wux' format and come in folders - these run fine and dont even need keys. Is there anyone here who managed to set up WiiU in Cemu (and linked in Launchbox) who has some experience with this issue or could direct me in the right direction?
  10. OK thanks then the source I got this pack from is not reliable. I will look for ROMS elsewhere.
  11. I dont have a problem with the CD version, in this case Double Dragon, it runs without issue. It is those PCE files that are a problem. I do not know why some are split between a sound version and standard game? Like Vigilante.PCE and then also Vigilante Sounds.PCE. What is going on with that?
  12. I am having some issues with TurboGrafx 16. Using the Metnafen cores in RetroArch and import as standard through LaunchBox however some games do not work. Also when I downloaded a pack of ROMS I note some of the games (most) have 2 files (ZIPED PCE), 1 for the game name itself and 1 for sound. None of these work whether I try to import both or just the main name version. When I download individual games from some sources online they seem to mostly work and only come in 1 file. What do I need to do here? See example of folder containing the files with both the game name and a sounds version. Then the bios I use in RetroArch and the working ROMS.
  13. I have searched all over the internet and just cannot get an answer on what is wrong. There are no real active Mame forums that I can find either. I just want my mouse set up to be used as a lightgun. I am using Mame version 0.206. I have set the 'Lightgun Device Assignment' to mouse under Device Mapping. I have set the input option for mouse as ON under Advanced Options. However when I start a game such as Terminator 2 the Arcade Game, the target recticle appears on the screen but as the game is still busy loading it disappears and a 'ting' sound can be heard. Does anyone know what the hell is going on and what settings I should use? ******EDIT******* I seem to have gotten it to work, no idea how but anyway it works now.
  14. How do I know which emulators support this? I am trying to run games as much as possible through RetroArch. I am also worried that I play through a whole 1st disc only to find the second disc cannot be loaded. For instance I tried to import Night Trap for the 3DO. It did not work unless I only imported disc 1. Then the game starts up fine but since I only imported disc 1 I presume disc 2 would not load. In the case of 3DO I am using the Opera core. As for the naming, is the example in my previous screenshot for Night Trap correctly names for Launchbox? (Disc 1 of 2) Are there any games that you can get through Disc 1 quickly so i can test this? I heard that it is possible to get through disc 1 of Myst quickly but all the versions of Myst I find are only 1 disc.
  15. I am still not getting this to work. Please help me! ? I created the m3u file as in below screenshot and placed it in the game's folder. From what I read online I should then use that file when I upload ROM files to Launchbox. However once it is uploaded and I double click on the game nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? Please! i need to do this for many games.
  16. Thank you. In all cases? So you mean like this;
  17. Please forgive me, I am still a bit confused. I am a total Noob after all. From what I understand I am supposed to create a text file as per the screenshot below and put it in the folder and then when I import the game through Launchbox I select that file instead of the game files? This leads to the game importing but when I try to run it, a black screen is all that appears. Please give me some more guidance? I have also set up 3DO and there are multi discs there too. I will be setting up PS1 and other systems where I presume I will have the same problem.
  18. Dear community members. Forgive me I know this has been discussed but for someone like me who is an uber noob some of the terminology you guys use can be a bit confusing and I dont want to mess it up. This is going to be an issue for me going forward with all systems I want to import ROMS for with multiple discs. I did read in another post that I should ensure the files are named as below - example; Night Trap on Sega Genesis. I am using RetroArch as the emulator in Launcbox for Genesis at the moment but again I am sure I will have the same problem with PS1 and other systems in future. Redream for instance with Code Veronica. Anyway, files are currently as below. I do note the combine option when uploading the files but I do not understand what will happen when I do that. Does it mean that when I play the game and are prompted to insert the second disc Launbox (and RetroArch) will know to automatically continue?
  19. Ah I see, I renamed the bios file that had the latest date to the name format and the game started up. So I presume out of those Bios files the best is to chose the latest date version and change the name to the corresponding correct format name? It makes sense to me the the last released Bios would be work with all games. Well I am presuming here.
  20. Oh I see. So if I have a bunch of CD games I just put them all in the same folder and use the cue file to open? As for the Bios, I did download that second result and the below is what extracts. Should these files be renamed? I believe they must be placed in the System folder in RetroArch but their names do not seem right. Could you please tell me what to name each?
  21. I find that strange. Should I move all the files into my ROMS folder in Launcbox? The .cue file is small so I presume it is needed to launch the ISO file or direct to the ISO file?
  22. I see there is another issue I did not take into consideration... I need to set up the Bios file in Retroarch. I have no idea where to get that and cannot seem to find a link for it or the file online. I know if can be tricky to find these. Any idea or just a clue of what I should do to get the Bios file?
  23. Please help me. I am a bit confuses as to how to import Sega CD games (and I will probably run into this issue with other CD games as well I presume). I downloaded a ROM/ISO for Double Switch. It downloaded as a ZIP and when I extract it I get the files as in the image below. I dont know which to select to upload to Launchbox. I have tried the ZIP and the ISO. I have the correct Core setup in RetroArch and in Launchbox. I am sure the problem is with the files. Please help me, I dont see a specific video that makes this clear enough.
  24. Same issue. Oh well, I give up now. Maybe the actual files are also not correct and causing the problem. At least all the other Dreamcast games I wanted I was able to find online in gdi.
  25. Yielded the same result as before. Screen flashes as if it tried to open a window and then nothing. I tried running as Administrator but the same issue. I give up on this game now. Will just have to accept I cannot play it. Well maybe I can get the PS2 ROM for it when I get around to setting up PS2 on Launchbox.
