opted for a MAME2003 Plus set. everything working, even games that previously werent (Battletoads, Killer Instinct, Area 51) Bittersweet, as i created a new problem for myself. LOL. New topic posted.

Ok, So i made a dumb mistake.... while configuring universal controls for MAME, i accidentally hit the wrong directional key for up, so now up accepts either right or up. The question is : is there a quick way to reset the key to default configuration? Using the MAME 2003 Plus core in retroarch. Thnx

I have a .174 set on a backup drive. that one would match the 2016 core, correct?

I appreciate the advice. I am reinstalling a .185 romset. what core do you suggest i use in retroarch for best compatibility? thanx for all the help thus far

I tried that out and still nothing... I have managed to work out issues with all other emulators, but MAME can be a real ***** it seems, lol. Going to try an newer MAME set and have my fingers crossed that i dont have the same issue.

I found that i was missing the bsmt2000.bin file. from what i can find, it says that the .bin file jsut needs to be placed in the general Games Folder. I did this, yet it still does not recognize that i acquired this file. Unsure what to do next. BTW, I am using a MAME .78 set.

Hi guys, Unsure if this is the right topic area.... New to launchbox and been emulating for some time now, but still very much a noob. I ran into an issue where i try to launch Battletoads under my Arcade, using Retroarch, yet when it opens retroarch, it sits there and the program stops responding. I am unsure what it is I am doing wrong what i need to do different to get it working. any helpful advice would be appreciated. Thnx ? (I provided pictures of what happens when launching, as well as the contents of my game zip)

None of the batch files seem to be available. Did they get removed? I desperately need to filter my rom sets from the garbage
