  1. Hi everyone, After successfuly setting up my launchbox/retroarch/big box for my consoles emulation needs, I would like now to add some MAME roms in the Arcade section. The problem is : when I follow the MAME full set import process, it will download arts data (covers, cabinet...) for thousands of games, even if my MAME roms directory only contains 75 roms files (I don't care about 99% of the games available on MAME). It takes a few hours, and in the end, I'm proposed a list of something like 6.000 games. As I couldn't find any way to filter out the 75 games I have, it's a pain in the *ss to browse through this gigantic list to find the games I'd like to play. So I tried to import the roms through the console process, but then MAME is not proposed as a platform. Does anyone have an idea to fix this little problem ? Thanks and be safe everyone !
  2. I finally had some time to re-install everything in a path without accents, and it works just fine now. Thanks for all the help ! The last issue I'm experiencing now is that the Nintendo 64 core installed in retroarch (mupen64plus_libretro) doesn't appear in LaunchBox. As a result, the N64 games will run just fine from RetroArch but obviously not from LaunchBox. I've installed the 3 different RetroArch N64 cores available, but still, LaunchBox doesn't see any. Any tips ?
  3. I will try that too, then. Thanks for helping!
  4. Just did it, but unfortunately, still the same... Maybe Retroarch also needs to be installed in a path without accented characters. Or LaunchBox. I think I'm about to give up.
  5. Actually yes, they are : C:\Users\Stéphane\LaunchBox\Games Is there a way to change the ROMs path?
  6. Absolutely nothing happens : when clicking on "Play", the mouse pointer turns into the "loading circle" for a second and that's all.
  7. "Portable" means that Retroarch was just downloaded and unzipped in the "Emulators" file, exactly like the tutorial video: But I also tried installing Retroarch (my current setup) and the result is exactly the same.
  8. Hi, and thank you for your answer! Here are the screenshots (in French, sorry).
  9. Hi everyone! I'm new here, and I've already read quite a lot about this "launchbox won't launch my retroarch games" topic, and I'm experiencing the same problem. I've followed the tutorials, and tried every hints and troubleshooting advice I could find, but still not working for me so far. I've installed the latest launchbox version, the latest retroarch version, the portable retroarch version, the older (win7 retroarch version). I've downloaded cores, my platform names are matching my associated platform names, the games run in retroarch without any problem, I've uninstalled everything, reinstalled everything, even did all of this again on a second computer, with the exact same disappointing results. The most frustrating of all is maybe the fact that there aren't any error messages, from Launchbox or Retroarch. Everything seems allright, everything runs smoothly from retroarch, but Launchbox will not open any game on any platforms in retroarch. I'm considering buying the licensed version and use the bigbox interface, but of course, I need it to work first. This message in a bottle is my last hope ! Thank you so much if you can help me out !
