  1. You are my hero right now, man. This is great! I just got done scraping two shows and this does all of the heavy lifting perfectly.

One side note and I apologize if you covered it, but I do have autohotkey on this machine already. Issue was I'm running AHK V2 which didn't want to play friendly with your script. I grabbed AHK V1 to run it and it all worked flawlessly. Only mentioning it in case anyone else has a minute or two of head scratching there.

    I love this though. Thanks!

This looks great, but I'm not understanding how you got the views you showcase here with it. I've downloaded and installed this on the latest beta build but I don't really see how I can get rid of the left side menu and make it collapsible as the one in the first picture... the problem exists for me with all of the examples pictured here. I'm not really understanding what I'm missing. I assume there must be a settings menu somewhere that I'm overlooking?

    ::EDIT::

Alright, I literally figured it out the second I hit the post button. I found the show/hide menu. I think I'm there now. Looks great, thanks!

  2. Yeah I get its hard to diagnose when its not reproducible.

The particular png file it always seems to throw the error on is located within...

    OptionsPage.xaml
    OptionsView.xaml
    TextListView.xaml
    TextFiltersView.xaml
    SystemView.xaml

Since the error is basically just "we can't find that path, yo." I altered the entries in those files to point directly to the png file relative to my installation.

Using notepad++ I can change every instance of "pack://siteoforigin:,,," to "G:/LaunchBox" pretty easily.

So far it seems to have shored up my issue. I'll pop back in after a bit if it doesn't stay fixed.

  3. No, this is an internally connected SATA SSD. I do not have Launchbox installed in my user folder though. It's on the root of this hard drive, but the account that I use on this system is the admin account. I don't think its a permissions issue but the fact that I changed the installation directory is probably worth mentioning.

There is one thing that occurred to me after I posted this. When I unzip an archive I tend to let it just pull the files out to a folder in my downloads directory. I then will cut/paste those files to their final destination. I did notice that this changes the files modified date vs what they show up as in the archive. I don't really know that this matters, but just to be sure I did re-install the theme again making sure to unpack the zip file directly to its final destination in the Launchbox Themes directory. Now the files show the same modified date as they do in the archive.

Its an intermittent issue. Sometimes I can launch the application without a problem, sometimes not. I'll be tinkering with it today and I'll see if it keeps throwing the error at me.

  4. Hi there, I've been enjoying this theme for quite a while but after the last few updates (I want to say since version 12.13 or so) I've been getting this error, mostly when I attempt to back out to the options screen..

I have tried reinstalling the latest version of this theme and I do right-click the downloaded archive and check "unblock". I did try doing a little searching, but most of what I come up with has to do with symlink issues for folks who have launchbox installed over their network. This installation is sitting on a local drive... Not really sure what to make of this so I'm hoping I can get pointed in the right direction.

You using a low resolution display?

No, it is an ultrawide though. Native resolution is 3440x1440. Ultrawide has been an issue with some BigBox themes but I have never had it cause an issue with Launchbox (though I assume it isn't out of the question). The difference between 16:9 and 21:9 can mess with views in regards to zooming and camera position. That said I did just try stepping down to 2560x1440 and that didn't seem to make a difference. Anyway I am currently using faeran's Default Plus theme without an issue and I'm pretty happy with that. If this was a problem across the board I'd take a bit of a deeper dive into it, but it only seems to happen with this theme.

It's not a setting I have altered, so no. I did try out another theme as well, which didn't present this issue, so I've been using that instead. If I get curious I'll poke around fir the Spacement setting you mentioned.

    Thanks.

Assuming you have videos, in LaunchBox go into Options > Visuals > Game Details, and turn on: Show Videos

Oh that's awesome. LOL I've been spending most of my time in BigBox so I'm not as familiar with the Launchbox desktop app as I should be... Honestly with as nice as this looks especially with videos its too bad there isn't just a controller supported version of this.

Thanks for the theme and the pointing me in the right direction!

The fact that this uses a plugin to build the interface leaves me with questions... My experience with plugins and launchbox is that the plugin can break when launchbox updates from one version to another. Is that something you'd be concerned about, or am I not understanding something correctly?
