  1. Just backup your scores and start fresh. Old high scores don't work. I'm on the leaderboards for Pacman, Ms. Pacman, and Dig Dug, and none of those scores are as high as my original scores were. It's simply a measure taken to keep people from cheating. Let it motivate you to beat your old high scores
  2. It looks like I haven't personally run into another game that does it, but after reading other people's posts it seemed like other people were having a similar issue, like with Xpendable and centipede. So if people do have similar issues, whether its on their end or in general, starting fresh should do the trick. And I'll definitely post if I run into it again.
  3. @Xpendable and anyone else having issues with uploads of high scores. Not every game is going to work perfect at first, but in my experience so far the solution lies in simply moving or deleting your .hi or game specific nvram folder after each match. So for example, before Dig Dug was fixed I got my first high score and it uploaded just fine. I played again and beat my score and it didn't upload. Then I deleted my nvram file and played again and it uploaded fine. So If you move or delete the relevant .hi or nvram folder then the game starts fresh and your high scores will upload again. Of course most games don't have this issue, but if they do, all you have to do is start fresh as if you hadn't played before. And if you get a personal best just make sure and make a backup of that file so you can still display it locally. And no, moving or deleting your scores wont remove them from the leaderboards. It's a pretty simple workaround until more issues are fixed.
  4. Fantastic! And props on the quick turnaround time, I really appreciate it ?
  5. Also just tested another game that saves to both the hi and nvram folders, Bubble Bobble II. However this one is the opposite case of dig dug, where the only file that matters is the .hi and not the nvram. Hi score data only saves in .hi, and multiple high scores in the same game upload to the leaderboards no problem. I've attached the log file, maybe there's a significant difference between how the two are handling high scores despite both saving to both the hi and nvram folders. Debug 2020-04-15 02-54-58 PM.log
  6. Thanks for looking into my issues. And yes, digdug.hi is in fact being generated in the hi folder, but it appears to be useless. I can move or delete that file and nothing changes. But moving or deleting the nvram does change the high score. Do you think you could check if that also happens on your end? This seems to be the first time I've seen a game save in both the hi and nvram folders. Not sure why.
  7. This is the one for Rainbow Islands. Debug 2020-04-14 11-30-50 PM.log
  8. This one is for DigDug. Here's the log from when it happened. First I moved my original nvram so I wouldn't have to beat my own high score to upload. . Then I got 14,240 and let myself die to test the upload and it worked. Then I went right back in without deleting any files and got 131,990. Both scores were in the game simultaneously. When I exited, my score in the leaderboards was still 14,240. As far as I can tell in the log file, it just never detected my second score. Debug 2020-04-14 03-20-41 PM.log
  9. @Jason Carr Really loving the new high scores feature! Big thanks to the team for implementing this! So I have run into some issues though. Yesterday I did a test upload of a DigDug high score and all was well, but then when I went at it again and got the highest score, it didn't upload. I understand that DigDug is stored in the nvram folder, and I could only get the high score to upload again if I deleted or moved the nvram file. It seems that if you have two high scores within a single game that saves to nvram, such as first and second place, it wont upload the newest one. I can't confirm if the same thing happens with scores stored in the hi folder. Do you know if this is expected behavior or something that can be fixed? Also, in a game called Rainbow Islands I got a score of 1,288,030, but in the leaderboards it only shows as 288,030. In contrast, Bubble Bobble does show a score over a million, as the highest score right now is 1,105,620. Any idea why that is? On a side note it looks like we're neck and neck in Tapper! Love that game!
