Hi, I got an email advising update 13.9 is out but whenever I check for updates within launchbox it doesnt find anything. Anyone know why? Some people say just install new versin over the old one which I can do but my Launchbox is not in the default location, does that matter? I read a thread that said if its in a folder like D:\Launchbox it could mess things up. Could just be nonsense that lol. Thank you

Can someone help me understand this I am not sure if I am just being dense but I don;t understand where the application path goes, etc. I know how to make .bat files but can someone just tell me exactly what to put in it to do this as I am missing tonnes of roms no matter how many times or what options I use to import. And I really do not want to manually go through a list.

Its weird I launched Launchbox using the exe in the core folder and now the one in the root folder works. Something must've gone wrong during last update perhaps? Either way its working now. Thanks for the advice

No that .exe is still in the core folder but it works fine if I launch from there. The exe in my root folder isnt a windows shortcut its an actual .exe file. Some reason that doesnt work but the one in the core folder does.

Hi, No nothing has been removed and the Launchbox.exe is still in the root Launchbox folder.

Hi all, Randomly Launchbox just will not start up on my PC. When I click on the icon I get the spash screen with Pupulating Games and Loading Interface but then nothing happens. I have even tried reinstalling 12.7 and still it will not launch. I am running Windows 10 and nothing has changed on this machine either software or hardware. Big Box works perfectly fine though. Any ideas?

Hi all it was the Critical Zone V2 theme. Problem seems to have been resolved by changing themes and then changing back to Critical Zone and now the 3d boxart is back. Strange but happy its fixed. Thanks for the help

Hi all, Since updating to the most recent version of launchbox none of my 3d boxart shows in big box anymore. The image locations have not changed and show fine in launchbox. I have refreshed all image cache's inside big box and tried to force them to show. It is defintely something to do with the recent update. Has anyone else had this?

Hi C-Beats thank you for such a prompt reply. That is very helpful However is there a way to have a customer Platform called "Playlists" so that I don't have to change the view to "View Platform Categories" in Big Box? I want it to appear like a system next to PSC, SNES, etc.

Hi, Apologies if this has been asked before, I did search the forums but none of the similar threads helped me. I want to create a Platform in Big Box called "Playlists" that contains all my customer playlists for game collections like Batman games, Resident Evil games, etc. The reason I want to creat a platform category ith all the playlists in is so I don't have to go into bigbox settings and change to Playlist view, etc. I just want a playlist platform next to all my other ones. I hope that makes sense and hope that someone can help me I am sure its something dead simple that I am just being dense about
