Thank you for the returning of Launchbox Android..I have Ben more then satisfied whit the Pc version( it as grown to be what I was seeking in a front end) and decided to try the android versions i have installed Launchbox on a fire tablet 10 and love what I see( and what I do not see yet hopefully) first ..it is sleek and simple( to simple so far) it is responsive and work really well( for the most part) i ran into some problems whit sd card authority for transferring but overcame the problem without to much of a fuss if I may make these suggestions ( I am sure your team is already on most of these functionality implementation) More options: i feel like there is much customization that could be done.. there is no way to had platforms wen they are not recognized even if retroarch Suport them(that I know of) same for the banners and team image( much more could be done) i noticed that when I import from pc to Launchbox android( using the new import to android functionality) that it doesn’t seem to take into consideration merged rom pack for mame/Arcade Keep up the good work I love you guys

In casse anyone is facing same issue on fire tablet go to setting/about fire tablet clic on serial number about 6 time to enable developer option (if not done already) in developer option turn it on and then go to default USB configuration and put it into file transfer then connect your fire tablet to a pc whit your sd card in tablet as extended just copy paste

I came to the same conclusion i had hope to not re transfer/ or re format.. i might debug and trie straight on device and see if I can transfer( I’m guessing same issue would happen on sd read/Wright restrictions unless debugging would change this) thank you for your reply

Hey, thanks for the bringing back of Android version, anyway, I just figured I would try on my fire tablet 10 since I enjoy launchbox on pc, did the import to sd card from pc my issue is whit privilege on storage on stock fire device if I put as extended, I can’t take the card out without re formatting and as external, I can’t transfer launchbox folder to sd ( no reading/writing permission issue) unfortunatly I have but minimal space on internal storage, so the practicality of sd is not there unless I am missing something If anyone know any better, I’d take the advice or else I’ll whait for updates ben considering unbloating the device but would like to avoid doing so thanks in advance

It worked, i whent and looked for removed Rom and edited one rom that needed to be adjusted then I closed..it did gave me a error but it kept the modification saved thanks a bunch i have ben googlelin and watching YouTube first time I could not find the answers.. much appreciated ill be testing and hopefully it will be fine you just saved me from restarting from far off..and a lot of days later

You mean in platform? the screen I shared is platform folder or do you mean the other files in data xml files (not in platform or playlist)

No, all backups in backup folder, none in data ..and backups do not exceed 25 limits , I keep it clean

I’m not sure if there is a tread for this but haven’t found any.. i have Ben building a launchbox library for about a year or so and never ran into any Major Issues.. there was a handful of games whit missing artwork that could not be found whit launchbox or even emu movie even after editing them so I decided to try screen scraper to get the stranglers..worked fine, even decided to get a little more since I was at it.. afterward, the metadata seem to be locked..could not edit, every shutdown it would revert back..plus some games were added despite if they were present physically ( some were old games that I haves removed and deleted from hard drive) ..since then it’s Ben a merry go round of scanning for missing art and removed/added roms.. i used different back ups and reverted to them but did not worked i also unzipped back up and it corrected some but still seem stuck on older stuff not present..still no manual editing posible( just revert change back to what it was before on boot) i am wondering, first if I am missing knowledge that could avoid restarting again Secondly, if I would be to reimport all media on new install..what would be the things to keep beside image/video/games/manual/music/ and would I have to re edit( I’m guessing I would on some whit numbers on name and all) unless there is a better way Any help would be appreciated
