I'm having an issue capturing Big Box using either "Game Capture" or "Window Capture" in OBS. Specifically, the game loading screens are not being captured. The sequence goes like this: I see the Big Box game details screen, hit play, the game loading screen appears, and then the game itself loads. However, OBS only displays the Big Box details screen. When I hit play, OBS shows a blank screen instead of the loading screen, and then it cuts directly to the game once it loads. It looks like Big Box opens a separate window specifically for this loading screen. I've tried creating a separate capture source just to grab that window, but I haven't had any luck. I would like to avoid resorting to a full Display Capture with desktop audio if possible. Has anyone encountered this issue and found a way to resolve it?

I apologize if this has been covered or is obvious. I've read many posts all day and haven't found my issue. I also did a screen recording to help land what I'm seeing. I will link that below. What I'm trying to accomplish: I want to have a Flycast platform with all Naomi, Naomi 2, and Atomiswave roms in it. While in that platform in Big Box, I want to bring up playlists and select Naomi, Naomi 2, and Atomiswave to narrow things down to each platform via the playlist. I only want to see those three playlists from the Flycast platform. What is happening: I started on this by creating a Flycast category and Flycast platform. Under the platform, I have a Sammy Atomiswave playlist set to only parent to the Flycast platform. For some reason, this playlist shows under all platform categories and platforms. I also ran into an issue where my Arcade/Mame auto-generated playlists only parented to Mame show up under the Flycast platform. All playlists always show up regardless of how the parent is set. Is it possible to only show specific playlists for certain platforms? If so, what am I doing wrong? I have tried playing with the parent toggles in every way possible and always see all the playlists in Big Box. Once again sorry if this is around but I didn't see it when looking. I run Flycast standalone outside of Retroarch. In order for escape to work for exiting games you will need to use the following auto hotkey script. Note: this is this is just a copy and paste from the M2 emulator script but figured if I can make life easier for someone looking around might as well. I didn't see anyone else having this issue so I wasn't sure if it was just me, but when opening a game with Nebula's Sega Model 2 emulator the window border was still visible. I added the following snippet to the "Running Autohotkey Script" tab for the emulator.
