Is there a way to make mame use the same numbers for my Xbox controllers everytime I boot up my pc?? Right now I’m using the ctrlr file to make my guns work everytime is there a line of code I could add to that so the numbers stay the same? Like right now if I set them up and then restart my pc the joy number will change from let’s say number 1 to 3 or 4. It’s super annoying. Any help here would be awesome. Thanks

Where would that be I don’t see a spot to turn that on in the emulator?? I’m using the most current build 0.250. Is that a setting in mame or rocketlauncher? Thanks for any help

Hey what’s up guys i need some help here. So I’m having a new issue with the latest windows 11 update. When mame used to launch it would launch with a dos box or cmd window in the background but windows would always hide. But with the newest update it stays on the screen and shows up threw the bezels in mame now?? Just trying to figure out how to disable that dos box or cmd and if anyone else is having this issue?? Thanks

I having a problem where 5 minutes into a game I lose all my controls in launchbox/bigbox but the esc key works. And I can exit out and than load it up again and it will work or click a mouse button. Also sometimes when I exit a game bigbox will be frozen until I click the mouse button to unfreeze it not sure what’s going on but it’s super annoying any help will be greatly appreciated

Is there anyway to config ledblinky to light up all the buttons all the time so no buttons aren’t lit up some games only two buttons are used and the panel looks weird not lit up. Maybe even if the non control buttons light up dimmer than the actual buttons for the game?? Thanks

So I’m running ledblinky with launchbox and I have a question. I just wanna have the program light up all my leds all the time in mame. But when I open up launchbox or big box it does the normal start up animation and than the whole board lights up. But once I open a mame game it’s only lighting the control buttons and the rest of the board is dark and doesn’t look great because it’s lighting up very random stuff. Please any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

That’s for the help but all I want is a config file or whatever I need to have the whole board light up no matter what mame game I load up. That’s what I tired in the ledblinky control editer I went to mame and did each button on by one and it’s still not lighting certain controls up like player 3 is completely dark all buttons and player 3 start and coin. Than button 5 and 6 on player two isn’t lit. And than on player 4 I have dark start and coin buttons and button 3 is the wrong color and button 4 is dark. It’s just annoying because I went thru each button separate switching it to always on and I still have non lit buttons. During boot up of launch box and scrolling everything lights up fine and correct colors would love it if I could just get that config on the game play of mame I would be setup

Tried setting up under the default setting in the controls editor and this is what happens. I’m closer now but I’m guessing some of the buttons are labeled wrong some where because I have every button listed all always on and I’m getting no controls lights on player 3 and I’m missing some on player 2 and player 4 is missing one and the start coin buttons are missing on player 3 and 4

Yes I’m talking about while playing games once a start a mame game it’s lighting up only random rgb lights. For example mortal kombat is lighting up 5 out of 6 player one buttons and than 3 player too buttons and one random player 3 button. I just would rather have it light up the whole board as it is when it boots up Just four different colors static

So I updated my demul emulator so that I can get gun games working correctly and it does work now. But my new issue is that when I hit escape to close the emulator it doesn’t close rocketlauncher and joy2key so it leaves me with no mouse pointer and I’m not able to load up anymore games. I’m not sure what the problem could be but I’m so close to having all my gun games working correctly and this is driving me crazy. Any help would be awesome thanks

I’m having issues with my ledblinky setup when the program starts up it does everything correct does the start up animation and than all leds solid. Now the problem is when I start a mame game it just lights up random garbage that isn’t even close to correct I just want it to light up all the leds like Normal for all 4 players I don’t want it to show only the controls for that game as 95% of the time it’s incorrect. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Is there a way in the new version of launchbox to set a default marquee image to display if there media is missing instead of having a blank screen?? Thanks

I don’t know why but every time I start a daphne game the emulator is not starting it on the first level it starts on a random area?? Is there something I have to change in the settings? Like for example road blaster the game has levels in order but it always starts on a random level? Same with cobra command no idea why it’s doing this? Another problem is if I hit my button 2 on my ipac that is programmed to lalt its pausing the screen but the game still plays until I hit it again to unfreeze it and help with these problems would be so much appreciated thanks

I was just wondering my current game count is 2846 total for mame version 0.220 am I way of not really looking for adult or clones just most popular arcade titles thanks for any help

No matter what I try both my aimtrac guns shoot for both players at the same time I have demulshooter setup as well this is the only emulator I’m having this problem with??

Ok so when I load up launchbox if I go into the edit screen and I hover over the check boxes they go invisible and sometimes they change into weird shapes and the same happens when I highlight the launchbox id it makes it a blurry mess and the stars as well for rating. And when I load up big box and I goto the menu where the options are as I scroll down the fonts get huge and stretched out I don’t know what’s going on please help IMG_5171.MOV IMG_5170.MOV
