Thanks for this!!! It took me a few tries to understand this. Let me see if I can help clarify this for anyone else. When you look at your profile and follow the instructions and go to the "edit profile" page. If you look in the address bar and see https://steamcommunity.com/profile/ 1234567890. This will not work and is NOT what you want to see. Follow what Format_C posted, what I quoted here, in the custom URL line just put an id that you want. it is what is setting your id so it does not need to be a URL, example johndoe2567 then save it you should now see when you go to the profile page that it now reads as https://steamcommunity.com/id/ johndoe2567/ now just go back to the launchpad page and enter ONLY the unique id you set not the whole address and you will be set
