  1. Im not positive what an input device is, but I’m using an iPac for 2 players, 2 joysticks with buttons, trackball, and 2 spinners, 1 into iPac, 1 usb.
  2. Thanks for the help. I looked at mine and it was similar so I went to the supermodel 3 forum and downloaded the most recent version and it works. Whatever version I had didn’t work with everything evidently. I do wonder how you have it setup in launch box. Yesterday I was getting it to launch but a small screen. After updating to most recent version launch box won’t open it.
  3. I was able to get supermodel to work with the soccer game, can't remember the name off the top of my head, but every "driving" game I can't get to work. I do not have a pedal so I assigned the acceleration to a button and brake to another button with L and R on my joystick, using servosticks for my steering. Is this the correct way to to do it? I hit the button and the car never accelerates, just sits there. I have tried this with several driving games and all the same. Also, is there a way to use my spinner as a steering wheel instead of using the joystick? Thanks for the help, I'm getting closer to getting this emulator to work. It's been the hardest so far, but downloading a "front end" for it really helped out.
  4. I have my control panel completed and installed all my buttons and sticks. One reason I got the servosticks was I knew that they could be made to automatically switch from 4 to 8 way mode when going into a game. I am wondering what is the best way to do this? I know you can do it with ledblinky but it appears you have to pay $25.00 for that option. I don't mind paying for things, but I do not have any buttons that are lit so I would be paying 25 to automatically move the sticks. Seems high to me, but if it's the only/best option I guess I will do it. I did not know it would cost anything as I have watched many videos about using ledblinky to do this and none of them said anything about needing to pay for it. Just extra money I would have to pay that I didn't know I would have to. Are there any other options that are easy to use or is ledblinky the easiest to use?
  5. I've never done this before. What do you mean by "combine games?"
  6. I am trying to add amiga, commodore, and other systems that have multi disk games. I added in my amiga games and it shows disk 1 another one for disk 2. Is there a way to only show disk 1 and then still be able to use the multi disk game?
  7. I am in the process of building my cabinet and am starting to get pc specs together to buy when ready. I am looking at mame games, possibly techno parrot, and then Atari - PS2. All the cd based games I am just going to put arcade type games on. No rpgs or anything like that, just arcade type games like shmups, nfl blitz, nba jam, games like that. What size HD would you recommend getting? I’m thinking an SSD drive as I’m not sure if vibrations from the bass and hitting the buttons would mess up a regular hard drive.
  8. I am making my first arcade cabinet build and am looking at launchbox for my front end. I plan on putting systems on it up to ps2. I am going to make a 2 player cabinet with 6 buttons each, 2 spinners, and a trackball. Does this sound like enough buttons? Also, for the pc build I am looking at an i3 10100, 16GB Memory, 1 TB SSD HD, 550W power supply, Gigabyte B460 HD3 ATX LGA1200 Motherboard. Currently I'm either going to use the onboard video or see if I can get a graphics card for a decent price as they are all really high right now. If anyone has any suggestions or if something doesn't look right, please let me know.
