@Retro808 so you have the marquee screen at the top on one of your builds and it displays the marquee? For me it doesn't. What's the resolution of your marquee screen? Mine is 1280x390. I even tried converting my marquees from PNGs to JPGs to see if that made a difference but nope. Can you think of any settings or reasons why if my marquee screen is at the top I get no marquee images displaying?

This issue is if I have it to the right, then TeknoParrot is doing something weird when it starts up and it "pushes" my marquee to the right. I think it changes the screen resolution so the big box screens get pushed off the main screen and onto the marquee screen which pushes the image. I've tried putting the marquee screen to the right and below but both get affected by this TeknoParrot "push". If the marquee screen is to the left or top of the primary screen then it's not affected by this problem but no marquee image ever appears when it's at the top or to the left of the primary screen.

I originally had my marquee monitor to the right of the primary monitor in display settings and all my marquee images display. However to fix a problem with marquees when using TeknoParrot, I need to change the marquee monitor to be to the left of the primary monitor in display settings. When I do this however, the marquee images don't appear on the marquee monitor. Any ideas why?

Weird issue with TeknoParrot and Marquee's

I just dragged it and kept it the same alignment and no marquee displays if the primary is to the right of the marquee screen. I did just install 12.7 today. Let me looking into custom cut marquee screens and see what that is and if it's the reason this is happening. -
Weird issue with TeknoParrot and Marquee's

If I move the primary monitor to the right then my marquee doesn't work at all. It was a while ago when I setup BigBox. Do I have to change some setting if I move the primary monitor to the right of the marquee monitor? -
I setup TeknoParrot and imported my first game (Rambo). I'm using BigBox and have an LCD monitor for the marquee. Everything launches fine and plays well with the game itself. The issue is when the game starts up, my marquee gets pushed to the right about halfway on the screen with the left half of the screen being black - it's not covering the marquee with black, the marquee physically gets pushed to the right. Once I exit the game and it goes back to the BigBox interface, the marquee moves back to the left to its proper position. Any ideas why this is happening and what I can do to prevent it from happening?

Marquee no longer displays images when computer wakes up
Toaster777 replied to Toaster777's topic in Troubleshooting
Does anyone else experience this or just me? Sometimes it wakes and the marquee works fine but most times it loses the marquee and never comes back when changing games until I restart BigBox. -
The reason is that LED Blinky gets a GameQuit from LB since the launcher closes and this is what LB launched. So in LEDBlinky, using the Controls Editor, edit the Emulator and select the "Ignore GameQuit Commands" option. This will keep the game buttons on in the game that the launcher launched.

If BigBox Is running and the computer goes to sleep, when it wakes back up, BigBox starts back up great, exactly where it was when it went to sleep, however the marquee image doesn't return. The 2nd monitor just shows the windows desktop background. In fact the only way to get the marquee images appearing again is to restart BigBox. Is there any way to get the marquee image to display correctly when the computer returns from sleep mode?

Thanks sundogak. That's unfortunate that pause doesn't work with BAM. I'm not sure all tables I have will work without BAM. I'll need to try and see and if not I may need to switch to VPX. I'm building a cabinet so I want Pause to work for all emulators I use.

Hi ItchyRobot, yes you are the one I saw! Love your setup. My issue is that I can't get the pause screen to even come up at all with Future Pinball. I hit P and nothing happens. Pause screen works perfectly fine for me in MAME but with Future Pinball, hitting P does nothing. That's the problem I'm trying to solve. I see you can bring up the pause screen with VPX in your video, did you have to do anything special for the setup (AHK scripts or something like that) or it just worked right away for you? I know your setup is VPX and not Future Pinball but maybe if you had to do something special to get the Pause screen to come up, it could help with my Future Pinball issue. Right now I'm just looking for anything to help. Maybe I need to switch from Future Pinball to VPX if pause works in VPX but not Future Pinball

Has anyone gotten this to work? I saw someone that is using Visual Pinball to display instruction cards from Pinball Cards on the BigBox pause screen and wanted to do the same with Future Pinball but haven't been able to get it to work. Does anyone have LB/BB pause working with Future Pinball? If so please let me know what I need to do to get it working. Thanks!

I want to remove the the 3D box image from the pause theme so I went into the default pause theme and edited the arcade.xaml file and removed: <Image Grid.Row="0" Grid.Column="2" Source="{Binding SelectedGame.ArcadeControlsInformationImagePath}" VerticalAlignment="Center" HorizontalAlignment="Center" RenderOptions.BitmapScalingMode="HighQuality" Margin="100"> <Image.Effect> <DropShadowEffect BlurRadius="10" Direction="-90" RenderingBias="Quality" ShadowDepth="1" /> </Image.Effect> </Image> and in the section above this - the image in grid.column="1" I changed Binding SelectedGame.Box3DOrNormalImagePath to Binding SelectedGame.ArcadeControlsInformationImagePath I figured this would just show the arcade controls where the 3D box was. So I save this and then startup launchbox and pause an arcade game and nothing is different - it still shows the 3D box and the arcade controls. Does LaunchBox cache things somewhere?
