  1. I kinda had a similar issues recently which I fixed: This only happened to me when I wanted to move my save files from my phone to my odin2. If I ran FF7 via Launchbox, my saves were there. If I launched directly in Retroarch, nothing. My issue was that LaunchBox was making a M3U file for my roms, so when I booted up my roms directly no save info was being found since the save files were linked with the M3U instead of the rom itself. Ergo, Im also pretty sure this issue is to do with the way LaunchBox launches rom files.
  2. Turns out I had to recreate the LaunchBox folder on my odin2, there was an M3U file being stored there which had the locatons of the rom (FF7, it has 3 discs). Once I copied the LaunchBox folder from my phone over to my odin2, I could carry on with my saved states and save files via retroarch and other front ends. I dont quite get why I had to do this, but hey, its working now. I think it was to do with the M3U being loaded as opposed to the rom file directly? And the save files I wanted were linked to the M3U playlist file.
  3. Hey all, So I have a really bizarre issue. Last year I setup Retroarch and Launchbox on my phone, primarily to play FF7 during my travels. All good. Now I have an Odin2 and I wanted to bring my save files over to it. Ive installed Retroarch as per usual and wanted to try out the save so I transferred the save and the roms but the save data isnt found when attempting to access the memory card. I checked back on my phone and I noticed that if I try to run FF7 just via Retroarch, it has the same issue, it cant find any saved data. Only if I boot FF7 via Launchbox, then it works fine. If I load up the game and save it again, I can see in the file explorer that the save file has been modified with the time stamp. So I am defo transferring over the correct file. Both my phone and Odin2 are using the same version of SwanStation and both are set up to use *.srm for the memory card. Ive been able to successfully transfer a save of FF8 from my Raspberry Pi 4 to my Odin and that works just fine. Any thoughts??? Thanks!
